microneedling

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine needles to puncture the skin creating a controlled injury in order to rejuvenate the skin. Also known as skin needling, collagen induction therapy (CIT), or percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), microneedling is a relatively painless process due to a numbing agent utilized with the procedure. Despite very mild side effects such as redness and pinpoint bleeding, you should see visible improvement in your facial appearance immediately after the procedure. The procedure is safe, simple, and successful!

• Results May Vary

Microneedling promotes natural collagen growth, reduces signs of acne scarring and pock marks, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, reduces hyperpigmentation, promotes even skin tone and reduces the appearance of black heads.

microneedling TRIFECTA

Our new and improved microneedling treatment performed by our registered nurse/licensed esthetician is a step above the rest. The only FDA cleared medical grade pen on the market, the Skin Stylus® is used to receive maximum benefits, allowing the needles to penetrate up to 2.5mm, reaching not only the epidermis but also the dermal layer, a deeper layer of the skin.

During the procedure a rich dose of hyaluronic acid and tissue-repairing serum is microneedled into these skin layers which adds a boost to the procedure by decreasing fine lines and signs of dehydration in the skin, leaving the skin with a more youthful glow after your first procedure.

Post procedure, a sterilized restorative biocellulose mask will be placed on the treated area, acting as a protective barrier, alleviating any discomfort, while simultaneously speeding up the healing process.

Last, but not least, in order to help restore the skin’s external barrier, a post procedure cream will be given to each patient to use post procedure.

Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a cosmetic treatment that stimulates collagen production. PRP contains proteins, including growth factors and cytokines, making microneedling more effective.

A practitioner will take a blood sample at the beginning of the treatment. A tool called a centrifuge is then used to separate the PRP from the rest of the blood components.

The solution is applied directly to the channels that were created from the micro-needling to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen.

Microneedling in the State of California is considered an invasive medical procedure & should only be performed under the supervision of a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
